Looms

The most incredible Louet - the Megado - is a loom for the complex weaver or the simple weaver who wants to weave complex patterns. It comes in either 16 or 32 harnesses in widths from 28" to 52". You can get it with a mechanical dobby or a computer dobby. We have one up and running and turning out blankets, dishtowels, shawls, etc as fast as we can. It is something to be seen and tried. The Louet 24 Harness Magic Dobby loom is a wonderful way to get into dobby weaving. It comes in 16" or 28" wide, folds for travel and is easy to use. You can get it with a mechanical dobby head or a computer dobby head.
The Schacht Wolf looms are floor looms that fold flat when not needed, can be either 4 or 8 harness and come in maple (sometimes in cherry and walnut as well). Call for prices. The Wolf Pup is the latest in the Wolf line. It is 18" wide, 4 shafts, direct tie up and folds up for traveling. It even has built in wheels so you can take it to workshops.
The Wolf Trap can be added to the Mighty, the Baby Wolf and the Wolf Pup to hold your shuttles and bobbins.

The Kromski rigid heddle Harp looms which have built in warping boards are available in 16" ($150), 24" ($165), 32" ($182). They all fold flat and can be toted around in a tote made just for it: ($45 - $55). There is now a stand for all three sizes.
